I seriously can't believe my little imaginateer (yes I just made that word up) is 4! Wow, do I just love this little girl! She is so fun and comes up with the craziest things! I honestly don't know what I would do without her sweet spirit in our home. She is a very easy child who usually just goes with the flow!

A couple weeks ago she decided that she loves loves loves "My Little Pony!" So we went with it and she loved it!

She kinda took charge of her own party. She told them they needed to get a crayon. Color. Tell her their favorite My Little Pony. When it was time to open presents and so on. I kinda felt like I didn't need to be there. She had it under control.

So Katie always gets to update our blog so I decided to take a shot at it as she went to pick up some farm fresh eggs. Side note: love the farm fresh eggs! Anyway, I decided that I would go through our enormous library of pictures and pick out my favorite ones. Now I just picked my favorite pics. It doesn't mean that they are the best pics, just my favorites...

This is a favorite moment because it was my first date with Katie. I know cheesy date to temple square, but it was also cheesy cuz we went to the Pie too!

This was the only time I have had the opportunity to meet the Prophet. It was indescribable.

To this day, this is probably my favorite picture of Boston.

No matter if she is four going of fourteen, she will always be my Lillie Bear!

My kids and I were so sad to say goodbye to such good friends! We loved the Brown family so much! So super sweet, kind, and generous! I hope one day to be as organized and on the ball as Andrea! We will sure miss Brayden, Brooklyn, and Britton! Good luck on your new adventure!

Thoughts and Prayers

Sometimes I just don't get why life has to be so hard. Why we have to go through so many hardships and trials. This past week my brother lost a really good friend to his battle with addiction, my sweet friend lost her baby, my sisters really good friend lost his battle with cancer, and a dear friend from high school died tragically. I can't imagine what their families are going through. I don't even know how you pick up and keep going. I am guessing with lots of prayers? And support from people you love? My heart is heavy for each of them. So, I guess if you are reading this pray for their families. Pray that they will have the strength. Pray that they will comfort. Simply just pray!

To all of my friends..I love you! You are truly example to me!

Got an early Christmas present this year!!! One of my favorite places in the whole world is NYC! I love the energy that is there! I love it! I would move there in a heart beat! My friend Brandy came with me and we had a ball!

Two of my favorite people in the world! And Jareds too. We met Mel and Gary the month after me and Jared got married in our BYU ward (lame..I know)! You could call them our "sole couple!" ;) Jared was sad that he didn't get to come and hang with Gary. They live in a suburb of Manhattan. Me and Brandy stayed at their house the first three nights. We wish we lived closer to them...... ;(

This is the life of a hardworking lawyer in NYC. He goes to work at around 8 a.m. on the train and gets home around 8-9p.m. and that is on a good day. Yet, he is home but still has to work on files!! Mel you really are my idol!

After a fun day in Chinatown...don't worry about what is in those bags! I am pretty sure Brandy did not buy 5 purses! It was so so so cold but so so so fun!

It was so fun to watch her experience New York! She could not get over the buildings, time square, she loved the Empire State building. The train station and the subway. She disliked ground zero. It is such a sad place. :( One of the nights we stayed up talking to Gary and she asked him a million questions from rent to why the WTC were hit. She would gasp at every answer..it was just so funny! :) So thanks Brandy for coming with me! It was such a fun trip! Fun memories were made! And in case you are wondering..yes, it tastes like regular pepsi! Hahaha!!! ;)

Holy cow how time flies!!! I can not believe that my little guy is 5!! Where did time go?

Boston, Bostonian, Rosco, Boston Baked Beans, B, Boslonian, Bos Man!

He has a few nick names from different people and believe it or not he answers to all of them! Happy Birthday Bud! Mom is so proud to call you my little boy! You are such a fireball. As I watch you grow and learn it is fun to watch what you have inherited from me as your Mom and also the things from your Dad! The #1 thing you have in your genes that you definitely got from your me is the need to be on the go and be social! You love to play with friends, be with friends, think of friends, and probably dream of friends. When I say friends that also means cousins as well because some of your cousins are your best friends! :)

Lake Powell 2010 was such a fun couples trip! We seriously had the best time! The weather was perfect, the company was amazing, and the memories are unforgettable! We hope to make this a yearly tradition. It was fun for me and Jared to get away from the kids and do what we wanted to do when we wanted to do it!

I have never fished before! This was my first attempt. I wish I had the picture of me when I really caught the fish. It is the best picture because I was so excited and scared at the same time!!!

Kevin and Billy taught me how to fish. Kevin (red shirt) was the expert fisherman. He spent most of his days fishing!

I think what I meant to say was CATCH UP! But I do like ketchup! ;) Here is June, July, and August!

Got together with HS friends! It was so fun to sit and chat and let the kids play. I can't believe we have been graduated nine years. We have a lot of kids between all of us. I know lots of people say that your HS friends will just go away after you graduate but we are all still close! Love all you girls!

Of course we celebrated the 24th of July! One of my favorite time of year! I think I like it better than Christmas! We have to fight for our good spot at the parade....but no worries....we got it! :)

And now since living in Salem we celebrate Salem Days! It is a lot of fun to do that with Jareds family.

Couple of our neighborhood friends turned the big 30! Yikes! ;) I also love these girls and the friendship I have with each of them! They are all such great mothers and I look up to all of them!

Went to Owl City and John Mayer. We had row 3 tickets which was way fun!

He was a goof but really good!

Lillie started preschool and loves it because she gets to go with cousin Jackers and her friend Braden!

Boston also started another year of preschool! He loves his new class!

I hardly can believe my little guy has been with us for SIX months! Oh how we love him! He is always happy, super sweet spirit, smiley, giggly, and well just perfect! I am so happy to have him in my life! Boston and Lillie simply adore him! When he goes down for naps they cry and when he wakes up they can hardly wait to go in and greet him. Paxton loves me but I think he is going to be a Daddy's boy! Whenever Jared walks in the door his whole little face lights up! His eyebrows raise really high and he starts flapping his legs and arms until Jared gets him! When Jared does finally get him he snuggles up in his necks and acts all shy! He can now rollover any which way. He rolls to me wherever I am sitting! He has two bottom teeth with his top four ready to bust at any moment! He can sit up! Which we both love!!! He is still only eating rice cereal. I tried sweet potatoes and bananas once and he gagged so I have just been waiting. So let me sum it up for you! He is the best thing that has happened to us since well....Lillie! We love you Pax!!

Doesn't Erin just look absolutely gorgeous!! I personally think she does! Erin got married to Mark on August 7th! It was such a beautiful day! The reception was in Jareds moms backyard and she did such a good job with all her crafty ideas. I will have to try and get some of the pictures and show you how creative she is!

Anywho, we are so excited for the newlyweds! Boston however was a little jealous! He loves Aunt Erin and he is not quite okay with the idea that Erin is somebody elses! He doesn't know what to think about Mark but where Boston lacks Lillie makes up! She loves Mark! She asks me all the time if she can have a play date with Erin's fiance!! :) Oh poor Mark! He has no clue what he just married into! :D

London Calling

I have been to Europe before (Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Austria) but I have never been to the U.K. The company that Jared works for has a office and he had some meetings and I was invited to go so off we went!! Boston and Lillie stayed home with family and friends (thanks all those who helped and made this trip possible...Grandma Up the Big Hill, Lacey-Dave, Ashlie, Allie, Grandma Lil...) and had a good time at home. However we had marvelous time without them...he he he!!

I was nervous to take Paxton with us. Being only five weeks and all but he did aMAzing!! On both flights he was so good. When we landed in London and also when we landed in Houston the person sitting by us each way commented how they were totally bummed when they saw they were by a newborn but very surprised at how good of a baby he was!! And ya know he will be six months next week and I would have to agree...he is the best baby!!!
TIP: If you are ever traveling abroad with a newborn you need to find a flight with a bassinet. It saved us. Pax slept almost the entire flight (11 hours) because he was so cozy! They just stick it into the wall...as you can see below!

Here is a little run down of our stay....

Jared driving the car on the wrong side of the road! Like that isn't hard enough to focus on! Oh, I have an idea lets rent a car with a stick!! I will not lie I was a little scared but he did a good job! ;)
The hotel we stayed out was so much fun! There is only like 30 rooms total in the whole hotel. Everyone of course has the best English accent and everything is "lovely!!" Jared went to meetings one morning and me and Paxton had had a terrible night and so we stayed at the hotel to sleep. The housekeeper was so distraught that I didn't let her clean. I explained to her that my baby was sleeping and that we had had a bad night. So later in the afternoon at like 1 I went down to the cute little restaurant to eat lunch and word had gone around that my baby kept me up and so the Front Desk Lady, my waitress, and the hotel manager all offered to watch my baby so I could take a "nappie!" They also gave me my lunch free since I had missed the continental breakfast!! Really some of the nicest people!!
One of the first nights we went to Cambridge University!! Holy cow!! Talk about a Posh school! Their dorms are not just dorms! They are castles and all so very prestigious! On campus some of the stores lining the streets were Juicy, Prada, Marc Jacobs, and of course H&M! Needless to say it must cost a pretty penny to attend the school!!

Here is a picture of some of the dorms. You can not even get any closer to them unless you have your pass proving that you live there!
And here is their testing center!!!! I don't know about you but I get nervous to take a test at is let alone in a castle!! It's just a little different then BYU-I's dungeon!
We took the train another day to Petersoborough! To do some shopping. This would never happen in America. I was shopping in a store and they said the store is closing and the worker lady came and told me to put my stuff down they were closed. She was not even going to ring me up and I had like 15 shirts (for my kids....)! I just looked at her and walked to the front and I could tell she was saying "stupid American!" Hello I just upped your sales by $150 more!! Duh!

One more little story. Everything in the UK closes at 5! Everything! Restaurants, grocery stores, train stations, movie theaters, malls, and well you get the idea. I asked the lady coming home from the train why everything closed so early and without thinking she said, "its family time. If everything is open parents are not home with kids. So everything closes so we can be together. Thursday is late night. Everything stays open til eight and so you plan around Thursdays to get errands done but the other days you are home with your family." I immediately just wanted to start telling her about the gospel! It amazed me that the whole...what...country just closes down?! They know how important family time is! I don't know I guess inside I was smiling! Not really sure why, but I was!

They had these Red telephone booths everywhere! They are the ones like you see in the movies so we had to get a picture! The one that I took one in was disgusting...someone had peed! Yuk!

The next five days or so was Jared stuck in meetings, me babysitting the GM's kids. Not like they were hard. They were 17, 14, and 10! We had a good time with them.

The last day was spent in London! Just like I love NYC...I loved London! So much history!
This guy did not a move a muscle! Kind of crazy everything they go through to protect their Queen! Very loyal! And it is such an honor for them to be able to serve their country! I think I remember them saying it is a three year commitment and you get no connection to your family or friends!

We went to Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Trivia! Did you know that the London Hard Rock was the first one? And did you know who started it? Well I am drawing a blank and I know I could google but I'm lazy. But if my memory is somewhat on track then it was Eric Clapton. He loved this certain hamburger joint. It was his favorite and so one day when he was leaving he left his guitar and said something like I will help make this place famous or something and so then some other guy followed in his footsteps and so on and so on and now we have Hard Rock Cafe's everywhere! ;P
(Also please take notes...if planning a vacation with a newborn don't take a lot of pics of yourself! Would you look at those cheeks and my chubby arms! Blah! And also sorry about the crotch grab on Paxton!! Didn't know how to hold him! ha ha)

Here is our cute little guy coming home! Wow, did we exhaust him! Here he is sporting Jared's noise canceling head phones! He was such a trooper and it was so fun to bond with him without the other two rug rats! It was such a good experience for us! We love those cheeks! Yummy!
Coming home we had a five hour layover in Houston. Normally, that could put a little damper on your mood but not when you have an awesome sister who lives there! Jenni has lived in Texas for I think 5 years and I had never seen her house so that was fun! Also, she made us a home cooked meal!!! After 11 days of eating out it was heavenly! We did not get to visit as much as we would have wanted to but either way it was so fun and totally a highlight of our trip!

You find someone in this crazy world that you admire and hope that in your lifetime you can only hope to be at least half of who that person has become!

Meet Heather! She served as my YW President growing up! She was so fun!! Did back flips with me, talked with me about my boy issues, cried with me, danced with us, fed me spiritually, laughed with me through those lame teenage years!! At my wedding she had four young boys but somehow managed to make it to my sealing! I remember walking in the sealing room and seeing her just smiling at me!! With one of her big Heather smiles!! I remember feeling so special because she came! I don't think I have ever seen her mad. She has a million things going on in her life but when you see her she takes the time to look you in the eye and talk to you!! How is being married? How is being a mom? Are you balancing it all okay? Those questions that lots of people ask but are they really listening?! I know that she does listen and if I ever had a problem, question, or concern I could come to her!

She has a blog that is so inspiring! If I ever need a pick me up I just go to her blog and once again she lifts me up! If you would like to be inspired find her on my side bar!

Thank you Heather for being one of those people...especially in a world where those kind of people are hard to come by! I love you!

{Summer Sunday's}

I love summer and especially Summer Sundays spent at my parents house (I love them at Jareds parents house as well...that is for another post)! Some of my favorite childhood memories were spent at my grandparents home playing with cousins! I feel so blessed that my kids are getting those same memories! A typical Sunday afternoon usually starts out with dinner and yes I know that we are spoiled! Every Sunday is either my Moms or Jareds Moms or both!! So a quick thank you to the moms for providing Sunday dinner!! :) I did not get pics of us eating dinner but here is an idea of how the rest of the night goes!

Usually after dinner most of us will do this...ya know just to let it digest a bit!

Oh and did I mention we take naps! ~sigh~ Johnny loves when anyone will take a nap with him! His kids are too big now!

We always have firsts...tonight it was Brynlie going down the fire pole! She's 2 and oh so cute!

Last but not least...do I not have the cutest parents in the world!? I just love you both so much! It is their 40 yr. anniversary this summer!! Ahh...40!! They are just too cute. My mom showed me today a love letter that my dad wrote her last week! They are such good examples to all of us kids! I feel so blessed to have them as parents!

So thanks Mom and Dad for letting us come every Sunday and trash your house!! At least now it is summer and your house stays clean! We will keep coming every week if you let us! Please just have popsicles for the kids and some shade for the adults!!

Best of Friends

So when we moved to Salem I was kinda sad! I have lived in Spanish Fork my whole life minus the what....20 months in Rexburg and then like....18 months in Provo! Needless to say I never wanted to live in Salem. Everyone from Salem has webbed feet ;) I had tons of friends from Salem who loved it and I knew the people were pretty nice but the freeway is far away, they didn't have a grocery store, and they did not even have a red box!! We got such a steal on our house we could not pass it up! So in we moved!! Now flash forward...we have now been in our house 4 years and 12 days!! Crazy! And oh how my feelings have changed for this little town we now call home!!! We now have a grocery store, our very own red box, and they made a new road that makes getting to a freeway a little easier! I think if I had to choose I don't think I would EVER move to SF!!! I still love SF but I think my heart belongs to Salem (don't tell my Dad)!!

The best part about Salem are my friends! We have made so many long lasting friends. Some have moved away, some we don't see as often due to a LAME ward split but either way they are still my friends! I love them all so much. For my birthday in April they all spoiled me. We went to Los Hermanoes and then to The Back Up Plan!! It was such a fun night. They gave me a scrapbook of memories that we have made over the last four years. I hold all of those memories so dear! These ladies have helped me not go crazy when my kids are driving me crazy! They have given me good advice. Borrow food from their fridge and so on! The list could go on forever! :) I really would be lost without you. I know that over the years we will all probably move and our paths won't always be crossing but no matter where we are just remember I would do anything for you ladies at the drop of a hat!!! :)

Paxton's Blessing

We decided to hurry and throw together Paxton's blessing while Jenni was here. I have never blessed one of my babies at my house but since it was not a fast sunday that is what our Bishop suggested we do! I actually really liked it. It seemed more personal or something. April 25th turned out to be a very nice and sunny day. Jared gave Paxton such a great blessing. Paxton was such a good boy the whole time. We all love him so much!! I don't know what we would do without his sweet spirit in our home! I don't know if it is the 3rd child syndrome but we did not get the best pictures on his special day. Especially one of just him!!! Not entirely my fault because he slept most of the time!! :)

I seriously can not believe that my baby (well not anymore) is 3! Oh man is she a hoot! I think she has all qualities that a three year old girl should have! She is drama, sweet, emotional, sensitive, tender, and just so darn cute! I seriously don't know what we would do without her! She wakes up every morning the happiest thing you have ever seen! She keeps us all smiling and laughing all day long. She loves Boston and hates when he goes to school because she "misses him so so much!" She has totally surprised me with Paxton and just loves that little guy. She calls him her buddy and pal. She never wants to hold him but wants to watch me feed him, change him, bathe him! Some of her favorite things are music, movies, carrots, cousins, dogs, dad, grandmas up the big hills, playing with the neighbor boys, balloons, and bubble gum!

Her birthday was pretty low key this year since Pax was only three days old. All she wanted was a Zhu Zhu pet.

My mom stayed with me the first three nights! Which is so nice. I would feed him and go straight back to bed and then she would burp him and get him back to sleep. She would make yummy breakfast in the morning and then take my kids home with her during the day so that I could have time with Paxton!

Birth Story

And the story goes like this...I went to the doctor Monday the 22nd and I had progressed a little farther so my Doc sent me to be induced at noon. I got to the hospital at noon but they were busy doing an emergency c-section so I actually did not get hooked up and started on the pit until 2! My doctor broke my water at about 5. At this point I was still a 2 and only like 90% thinned. The times passed by so slow 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. At ten o'clock the nurse checked me and I will still a 2 and 90% thinned. So the Doc said that if every hour she checked me and I didn't start progressing then I needed to prepare my self for a c-section. I have no idea why but that totally scared me. I know a lot of people who have them and love them. However, for me labor does totally suck and then when I am a 10 and I get to push my adrenaline starts pumping and I love it! Weird! Plus, I knew what to expect with doing this way. I had my first two that way and thats what I know how to do. Anyway, at 11 I had thinned a little more but not a ton. And the same thing at midnight. Finally when she checked me at 1 a.m. (now realizing that baby would be born on the 23rd) I was barely a three. She called my doctor and he said that he had just delivered a baby in Provo and that he was headed over to check me and do a c-section. I totally went into panic mode and start throwing up. We called my brother Tyler to come give me a blessing. He got to the hospital at 1:40ish and him and Jared gave me a blessing. It helped calm me down a ton. I am so grateful for the priesthood and I know that is what totally helped me progress and have Paxton.

Within in like ten minutes I started feeling a ton of pressure so I called the nurse in to check me. We all about died when she told me I was a 7!!! My doctor got to the hospital at 2:10 and checked me again and I was a 10 and complete! He said that he should have threatened me that he was on his way to do the c-section a lot earlier. Anyway, they hurry and got the room ready and I delivered the little bug at 2:50! I pushed through two contractions! Phew! Can you believe that?!? This is my THIRD child! I thought my body would totally know what to do. My first two were shorter than that. It was definetly a long day/night but he was totally worth the wait. He has been the best baby. He is an amazing sleeper! I have never had a baby nurse and he totally gets it. He rarely cries and when he does it is so soft.

I have a friend who has a theory that however your baby came into this world is kinda how their personality is. I would say that this theory is true. Paxton is patient and wanted to come when he was good and ready! We are all so in love with and feel so blessed to have another special spirit in our home!

So this past weekend we had the opportunity to go down to St. George for one last hooray before baby Maverick (:~) I mean Paxton comes along. Katie arranged the whole thing and we had a great time. I kept telling her thanks, but she told me to stop telling her that. So, I decided to type it. Thanks Katie!

The only lame part is that we didn't even bring our camera. I just pulled this pic off the internet for those who know what went down. :) Next time it will be huge!

We started out Bostons birthday the night before with going to Pirate Island with the Auger family! Boston loved playing the games and of course looking in the gift shop.

We woke up on the morning of his birthday to a TON of snow! All he wanted to do was go and play in it. So off they went. I was lucky enough to have Jared home to help me get ready for the day. So he took the kids and they built this snowman at least 5 times. It just kept falling down!

And next came the birthday party with FRIENDS! If any of you know Boston all he cares about are his friends. He thinks cousins are friends, neighbors are friends, teachers at school are his friends! :) We literally walk out of Hunters house and he says "what friends house should we go to now?!"

All these kids live in our neighborhood! We feel so lucky to have so many close "friends!"

Jenni is here from Texas which means that we get to do fun stuff! She always gets the ball rolling when she is here. The first brave and fun thing we did was go to Tai Pan for a little shopping and then headed to The Aquarium! The kids absolutely loved it. Lillie was kinda scared at first but then she loved it. Boston was fascinated by all the fishes and kept asking me cute questions.

I can not believe that Boston started pre-school! I remember when I had him and my nephew Nate was in pre-school and I seriously never thought the day would come when I would get to send him off into the big world. Of course the first day of school I had a melt down! Boston on the other hand could have cared less. He gets to go to school play with friends, play on the play ground, color, and gets to have a break from me! He is loving school and his teachers.

Most of all he loves that he gets to go to "grandmas school!!" My mother in law works at Mt. Loafer elementrary and we were lucky enough to get Boston into their pre-school. Grandma walks down and checks on him and gives him hugs. That is his favorite part! Boston goes to school each morning with our neighbor and his good little buddy Brooklynn.

She is super shy and would not look at me lol but she is so cute!

We love you Boston! Good luck in the real world! :)

Also, Lillie started dance this year. We don't take 2 year olds at Heart N Soul but lets just say I have an in!!! I didn't know if she would do it because she can be a little shy. However, she walked right in and has loved it. She loves to point her toes, do the kitty cat song, and of course the bear hunt!

We took Boston to a Real Soccer game this year and it was super fun. He actually did really good and sat through the whole game! We got our tickets for super cheap through 101.9 and we were on the 2nd row!

So heres the story...My sister was watching Good Things Utah and they did this DNA blood test to tell this couple the sex of their unborn baby! You can take the test as early as 8 weeks! Well this company told them they were having a boy and then they did an ultra sound at 20 weeks and it was a GIRL! So this company is trying to prove that that was a huge error. They are giving 10 ladies a shot to show that they are normally 95% accurate!

So I wrote into

and went up to the studio

and was interviewed by

and took one of these (well actually 3--long story)

and my results are in....

I am having one of these!!!

So now I will have my ultrasound in a few weeks to see if it is right! All 10 of us girls that were previously interviewed will go back up to the studio in November and be on the show. They will show all us pregos at 8 weeks and our interviews and then give our pink or blue test result and then we get to tell them our ultrasound results! It should be super fun! I will keep you all posted!

However, I knew it was a boy from the beginning. I am 100% positive it is a boy and I could not be more excited for wrestling, trucks, pirates, and all the other boy stuff! My only problem is that I literally have no boy names...well I do have one but Jared does not love it! Lillie is still dead set that it is a girl (and so is Jared)! We shall see!!

Okay seriously! Lillie is so funny and she is just getting so big and talks so good and seriously keeps all of us entertained! So last night at 2:26 A.M I hear her singing e i e i o! So I go into her room and she asks for a hot dog, milk, and chips!! I tell her no and to go back to bed. She comes out some time later and wants to lay with me and well long story short this goes on for awhile!!! At 4:53 A.M. I get out my bed walk into her room and tell her to go to bed. No more talking, singing, or crying! I am used to getting my sleep. I don't have newborns or lousy sleepers! I have awesome sleepers!

Okay, so moving on! 8:15 rolls around and Boston comes into my room and asks for me to turn the t.v. on for him so he can watch Curious George! I roll out of bed, walk into the living room, open my eyes and find this....................................

butt freakin NAKED!!! And fast asleep!!! Me and Boston sat and giggled and of course I had to go wake up Jared and make him witness in on the action!!! (side note--some miraculous thing happened and she did not pee anywhere)!

So thank you Lillie for keeping us giggling! I love you! I love you! I love you!

Here is the tech taking off his once white soccer ball cast turn yellow soccer ball cast. As he was taking off the cast he asked me which one of my twins came out first (like who was older) and I just had to laugh because I am starting to get this question asked on a weekly basis. So my answer is...well he did by 17 months! You should have seen his face. Priceless! I think his mind was still thinking twins born 17 months apart and then when it registered! It was funny!

Boston would not take his eyes off the cast. He never cried or even whined! He just sat up so tall and brave and never made a peep!

The kids...lol...Me, Jared, Tyson, and Erin

Tyson taught us how to do this cool thing. He learned it on his mission. The shutter stays open for fifteen seconds and you use a flash light to make the heart and then me and Jared just move. Pretty fun...we spent every night doing this for hours!!

I think the most fun part for Jared was having Tyson home! I know that I can't live without my sisters and the last two years Jared has missed Ty! So WELCOME HOME TY!!

My kids are still not getting where toys come from on occasions like Christmas and Easter! They just wake up and they think it is pretty fun! Here are the rug rats looking at some sweet stuff that the Easter Bunny left.

They both loved the golf clubs! The Easter Bunny was very smart to bring two sets! I think the Easter Bunny is getting smart in his old age!! :)

Here we are at my moms right before the easter egg hunt. We are a pretty big family and sometimes it gets crazy but it is so much fun! The weather cleared up long enough for a good little easter egg hunt!

So on Monday and Tuesday it was so warm and we absolutely loved it! Each of us get a little sunburn but no need to worry about that because today the sun is gone and so they are not going to get any worse! Honestly, I loved those sunny days and my kids had so much fun playing outside! We are getting a fence next week and so that will be so heavenly to be able to put my kids outside in a locked back yard and let them play in the sun!!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Every year our neighbor Pam does an easter egg hunt for the kids and it is so much fun! The kids absolutely love it! They get to find ten eggs and they search frantically for them and it is so fun to watch the kids. This year we turned it into a little FHE type thing and had it on a Monday and had a weenie roast and we all brought salads. It was so fun! It is little things like this that we do that really makes me so happy that we are staying in the neighborhood. We had so much fun. Thanks to Pam and Kyle for such a fun night!

Birthdays~Birthdays

Lets see here! Okay first of all Happy Birthday to Jared!! I must say that I planned and a really good birthday for him this year! ;) In the morning I made him breakfast and then he opened all of his presents with the help of the kids!

We kinda just had a pretty lax day and hung around and then that night we went to Happy Sumo for dinner and it was so yummy even for me who does not like Sushi!! Then we left from there and went to Miracle Bown...Jareds favorite! We met up with some friends and such a good time. I think Jared already knows this but thank you so much for being the best dad and hubby in the whole world. I am so glad that we are a team and that we get to spend together forever baby!! Oh and just a little update we took our house down for sale and Jared took the job at Young Living. Introducing the new....drum roll.......International Liasion! Not really sure what it means but he was really excited about it. He will be going out of town a lot and having some crazy schedules that neither me and him are used to but all in all it will be so good for the future!

~Happy 2nd Birthday to Lillie~

So her birthday was so fun this year! She was so super shy the whole day. If anyone called or came over she would just run and hide!

So it was pretty funny when the party started because she was literally so embarrassed to have all the attention! She did love opening her presents but still be extremely shy and didn't want anybody but Johnnie! She loved everything she got!

With all the stress of Bostons doctor office the day before I never did get to make her the cake that I wanted to so....call me Mother of the Year!!! She got mint brownies from the bakery at Maceys!! Personally I like brownies better and thats all I could do on such late notice. So at least they were some kind of hit ha ha!!! Anyway it was another fun day and once again we are so grateful for sweet little Lillie!!

I cannot even believe that my baby is 2!!!! I cannot even handle how cute she is and how much fun I have with her. I remember back to the day when I found out I was pregnant with her. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that I literally cried for like two months! Boston was such a colicky (sp?) baby and he was only 9 months old when I found out that I was prego with Lillie! He had just gotten where he was easy. He was crawling and sleeping through the night. The thought of doing all of that all over again was so overwhelming! I remember taking the test and it was positive and I was crying and Jared was trying to comfort me and I didn’t say anything for a long time and Jared finally said are you okay and I said it better be a girl or else…….lol!!!! So about four months later on Bostons 1st birthday I had went and had a gender ultrasound done and I told the ultrasound guy to not tell me the gender and put it in on a paper I had scrapbooked and that night on his birthday I opened it with all the family!!! It was such a fun thing and such a special experience for me and Jared.

So low and behold on March 26th came our little Lillie Ashlie(she shares her birthday with her Auntie Kellie) weighing in at 7 lb 7 oz! She wasn’t colicky, or fussy, and honestly has been so easy from day 1. I think most of that has to do with me learning to let the little things go. I threw the books away and let her do her own thing….well for the most part. Also she has her dads laid back personality and Boston is more stubborn like me!

So two years later and Lillie we all just love you so much! I am so grateful that our Heavenly Father sent you to our family. Even if Mom didn't think she was ready for you! Such a testimony builder for mom that He does have a plan for us even if it doesn’t match what we think our plan is! Happy Birthday Lillie---I love you sweetie!!!!!

I've Been Waiting for this!!

Boston is my wild child! He jumps off anything, climbs everything, and can just run so fast! I have always wondered when he would break something! Anyway, on Tuesday at my sisters he got on the dirt bike with Morgan and some how his foot got caught in the wheel. Luckily, he was wearing shoes becasuse his crocs were messed up pretty bad. Wednesday it looked pretty swollen and he wasn't walking on it so I took him to the doctor and like 3 hours later---After going to the doctor, then him sending us to the hospital, and then back to the doctor with x-ray results!! It was a long day with a 3 yr old! The good news is it is only sprained and not fractured like the doctor was thinking. But the infection is pretty bad. So he had to get two shots and is now on a strong anti -biotic for 10 days!

Here is picture of him right before his shots. I don' t know if you can see just the one tiny tear just sitting on his eye! :( He was so brave. And to reward him for being so good we went and got him some work tools!!!

{-Cabin Getaway-}

Last weekend we went to my brother-in-law Johns cabin. His family has the nicest cabin up Heber canyon. It is called Timberlakes! It is such a fun cabin and it is almost way too nice to call it a cabin. It is more like a resort. When we get to go we feel so spoiled. So before I share our weekend I just want to say thanks to John and Ash and of course Pauline!!

My family is starting to change so much. My parents now have 18 grand kids and we found out last week one little girl is on the way(Yay Tracie) so a total of 19!! Which finally brings the running total count to 6 granddaughters and and 13 grandsons! And so the age ranges from 16 down to 1.

Anywho, on Friday my family, Tylers family, my parents, and John and his two youngest headed up. We got up to the cabin around 3 and can I just tell you it is seriously a piece of heaven on earth. Just being in the cabin surrounded by beautiful snow, mountains, and family. It doesn't get much better than that. That night we just snow mobiled, played games, and ate. Very relaxing and within a half hour of being there me and my ma took a nap! It was quite nice. I was wondering how Boston and Lillie would like the snowmobiles and they both loved them. Lillie was a little hesitant at first but she eventually came around.

Saturday Tracie and her family and Ashlie, Morgan and Allie came up around 12. Once again just a lot of laughing, playing, and of course good eating. That is one thing that happens when you go to the cabin. Everyone is assigned a meal and so everyone goes all out and when it comes time for lunch and dinner your not even hungry but everyone eats because it all looks so good! Saturday night was so fun. Cody got all of us playing a clapping game. Kinda like big booty but different. My family are not huge game players and so it was fun to do that. Then out of the blue Cody says "Simon Says stand up!!" So you better believe it...we all played Simon says. It was so funny and he did the most random "Simon Says!" I literally started to pee my pants!

Sunday was a good day as well. More eating, playing some games, and just relaxing. One of my other favorite parts about being at the cabin is listening to Kellie tell stories. She is the best story teller in the whole world!! She talks so fast and you really have to listen close to catch everything! I love it! She is the best sis-in-law! Well like always we have to pack up and go home. I always hate when it is time to leave the cabin. It means you have to go back to real life! :( Boston and Lillie had so much fun playing with there cousins. Almost everyday they want to go see Brit or Johnnie or Kaels! I am so grateful that we live so close to our families and my kids do get to know all of there cousins! We missed Ben and his family and I hope that they will be around to come next time. Here are a few pics of our weekend. We seriously had so much fun!

We also had a little scary moment at the cabin. Most of the kids were outside and Kellie and Jack were upstairs getting ready for the day when we heard this huge glass crash. We were not sure when the noise came from. We thought Jack had pulled something over. Tyler finally went into the bathroom and the mirror that is 42x49 had totally fallen off the wall. Kellie had just left the bathroom so we are glad no one got hurt.

Poor Allie doesn't have anyone her age to play with so she gets stuck helping with babies. Making sippies and cuddling with them! Thanks Al!

You gotta love my dad! His new pup had an eye infection so he had to bring them to give them its medicine!

Here is Jack! He plays so good all by himself. You never hear a peep out of him until someone sings "I like to move it" and then he gets mad! LOL!!

Pens and Stickers

Two things that are cool in my house right now!!

For Lillie she is super into stickers. She walked in my room and had them all over her. She puts them everywhere throughout the house. It totally entertains her for hours. :)

Boston on the other hand was totally pumped that I found a Troy Bolton pen at Shopko! It sings Bet on it! He carries it everywhere we go. :)

My little rug rats are getting so big and so much fun. They play so well together and it is so fun to watch them learn everything. Last week I went to the grocery store and I had three people ask me if it was hard having twins! :) The first two people I explained that they were 17 months apart and that he is small and she is big and the the last person to ask me I just smiled and said "why yes it is...very exhausting!!"

Boston is so smart. His brain is always going at least a hundred miles an hour. Now he does not care about colors, numbers, or letters. But he could tell you the first and last name of all our neighbors and all his cousins. If I tell him what day of the week it is he can tell me whose house he gets babysat that day. He is starting to mellow a little bit and loves movies. Especially Star Wars with his dad! He loves going to either grandparents house. He loves to make cookies with Grandma Auger.

Lillie is starting in on her terrible twos. She is all girl. Very dramatic and emotional. If I tell her no she gets the saddest face and then puts her face into a pillow and waits for me to say sorry. She is starting to like other people besides me! She gets excited to go see friends and cousins. Lillie is very school smart. She knows all of her letters and can tell you the sounds of all of them (thank you Letter Factory)! She can count to ten with a little help from me. She is fun and always has us laughing.

Jazz'n It Up!!

So me and Jared were lucky enough to get invited by UPS to go to Boston vs. Utah game. It was so fun. My friend, Katy, called and asked if I was going to Zumba and I said not tonight we are going to the jazz game. So she calls me the next morning and says she has something for me. I racked my brain trying to think what it would be....when she pulled three of her sparkly rhinestoned tops out of her car I started laughing so hard!! I thought it was so funny. So I wore a sparkly shirt and jacket! I told the other couple we went with to notice all the sparkles and it was so funny to sit and count them all. :) So thanks Katy for helping me fit in!!

However, the couple we went with decided that me and Jared should have a jersey. So I of course got a Korver jersey and Jared got D. Will!! They had a pink Korver jersey with rhinestones but they only had tiny tiny sizes. :( It was such a fun game and really intense but the Jazz came out on top! The Celtics have one of the best records in the NBA right now and so it was really awesome that we won.

So the bad news is....the couple must have totally liked us because they called Jared the next day and asked if we wanted to go again to the Saturday night game and be the UPS suite!!! My nice husband said he better let someone else in his department have a turn...grrr! So maybe next time!!
